Mum’s The Word is a website and group set up by three local first time mums. We are all new to the area and so understand the importance of building a new social network of friendship and support.
We aim to keep local mums informed of places you can go with your baby to provide opportunities to meet new friends. We also help mums to meet each other through informal get togethers. We hope that by taking advantage of these opportunities, no mum need feel isolated.

The website now lists 50 baby / toddler sessions over 6 days, clubs & courses / schools and 6 mother & baby exercise classes over 4 days.
With all this information held in one place we hope that local mums will find something to suit them and their baby, whatever their nap time, and help you and your baby on your way to an active social life.
